This Firefox Add-on is the same as the previous Swap My Cookie Extension for chrome. This Add-on works for any website which rely on Cookie. You can Switch your Cookies back and forth and use multiple account at the same time.
The browser extension APIs are designed to promote cross-browser compatibility among extensions. The WebExtension APIs is therefore, to a large extent, code-compatible with the extension API supported by Google Chrome and Opera. Extensions written for these browsers will, in most cases, run in Firefox with just a few changes. I don't know how to fix the problem be if you use this code and add it to start up it will clear your chrome cache every time you start your computer. And as you have said clearing chrome cache helps.
Luckily we have MultiLogin extension for Chrome and Multifox add-on for Firefox. I find the chrome extension extremely easy to use. After you install the chrome extension, just click on the New Identity icon and open your second twitter account. Its as simple as that.
